And his wife is just as bad when it comes to hidden sins. She shunned me big time (my best friend) then admitted to me a few years later that she had been doing the same wrong doing for ages but didn't feel the need to confess.
I can't stand either of them.

My husband and I were good mates with his wife and hung out with them both for years after I left. We socialised with them most weekends until we both had children.
He was the most 2 faced bloke back then but he didn't seem to take the truth seriously so it didn't bother me too much. He used to get up to all sorts
Apparently he is the model brother these days but I can't help but want to shout out what he is really like. If only they knew the things I knew. He'd have been before countless JC's if they knew.
Anyway, I just wanted to rant. Maybe I'll run him over next Wed if I see him.

Despite my experience of being told to lie you'd think I'd have cottoned on but no. I stll believed all those dodgy stories in the year book
most witnesses that i knew of were spurred on by hearing a talk designed to make them feel guilty over their not doing enough.
co's visits, assemblies and conventions motivated a few to pioneer, "reach out", etc......soon after the talks, usually, in less than a month, everyone went right back to slacking again.. did you feel "motivated" due to guilt when you were an active witness?.

Aged 12 I was asked to give my experience at a Barry circuit assembly (Barry, South Wales) which I did.
I was 'coached' in what to say and gave the wonderful experience of how I placed the Creation book with my religious studies teacher and told how she took it home with her and the very next day she came back in and thanked me for it as it had made her think things differently and she would very much like to discuss things further with me.
What really happened was I was sat in her RE lesson with the book open. I wasn't reading it because it was boring and was too busy staring out of the window. She asked me what I was reading, I showed her and she said 'Oh'
That was it. But I was encouraged to lie about the whole thing

So Charles gave this pastor some bible student literature and the pastor went back to his congregation and told them all about it.
The members of his congregation said he shouldn’t be reading that sort of thing because it taught against the belief in the trinity and hell fire and such things. So the pastor told the congregation that they should have a debate about it and study these books. Which they all did in the church.
And do you know what happened next? That’s right the whole congregation came into the truth. Every single one of them.
My Dad actually believed this story. Well I imagine all the JW’s told this story would believe it.
